Commercial – Tom regularly negotiates, drafts and advises on a broad range of agreements, including manufacturing, supply, distribution, license, service, purchase, sale, joint venture, NDAs, confidentiality, non-compete, financing, indemnity, and many other agreements, often in the international context. He regularly addresses the business and transactional issues that businesses encounter (including antitrust, trade compliance, supply chain management, trade secret and data protection, FCPA, insurance, real estate, and intellectual property). 

Employment – Tom handled the complete life-cycle of employment law issues, from hiring, handbooks, and employment agreements, through managing performance, training and development, handling compensation issues and leave and accommodation requests, to individual and group terminations, separation agreements, resolving disputes, and many more. Tom worked closely with senior management and HR teams in the relevant companies, making recommendations and implementing agreed plans. 

Dispute Resolution – Tom has proven himself quite adept at resolving disputes, in both the commercial and the employment context. He has successfully investigated and resolved numerous discrimination and harassment claims and negotiated and gotten signed severance agreements, with individual or group terminations. 

Compliance – Tom developed and managed the US compliance program for a significant foreign-owned group. He updated the reporting protocols and the record-keepingstandards, established an e-learning program, expanded its presence and visibility, and greatly improved the compliance program. 

Investigations – Tom has planned and conducted many investigations in multiple, often delicate or difficult, scenarios ranging from claims of harassment or discrimination to financial fraud such as financial statement fraud, self-dealing, and money laundering, and cyber intrusions. The firm can conduct independent investigations confidentially and professionally.
